Twisted metal black free download for pc

The second in the Twisted Metal series of car combat games, and the last to be developed by SingleTrac, Twisted Metal 2 is considered by most of its fans to be the pinnacle of the series.

Combat takes place between a wide array of vehicles ranging from a man strapped between two wheels to an ice cream truck, using an eclectic arrangement of weaponry.

The action takes place in 8 different locales around the world, many featuring destructible buildings and landmarks.

The plot - the least important element in games of this kind - is simple: you are competing in a worldwide car combat game staged by the a powerful man named Calypso. You pick your vehicle from an array of heavily-modified cars, including a flamethrowing Chevette, a spinning F1, to a dangerous contraption that consists of nothing more than two monster wheels with you strapped in the middle. You then play through a series of arena throughout the world, picking up weapons and trying to kill other vehicles before you are toast.

Each car has its own special move, and the game obeys a logical yet totally unrealistic physics model that allows you to turn on a dime and go flying feet in the air.

The weapons in comparison are quite standard: dumbfire and homing missiles, ricochet bombs, mines, napalm, and many more. The environments are also very well-designed. The Paris level, for example, features a destructible Eiffel Tower in addition to several priceless works of art in the Louvre; the Antarctica level collapses piece by piece until one small glacier island is left; the incredibly large Hong Kong level contains a subway complete with trains coming and going on schedule and one of the biggest and most difficult bosses you will ever see.

There are also a few multiplayer modes to choose from, including a two-player co-operative mode that allows you and a friend to go against computer-controlled teams.

With excellent levels, furious action, and unrealistic but fun physics, Twisted Metal 2 is definitely worth a look for anyone who enjoys games like Quarantine , Death Drome , or Rocket Jockey. Two thumbs up, way up! There is a false trojan when virus scanned. It has the original version as well as a Russian hack that rebalances the game. Single player is the original game with no changes which most of us play online and multiplayer launches with the Russian hacks.

Screenshots from MobyGames. FJ 0 point. Thanks , The Fan made release work perfectly on Win 10 , and also the added online mode work fine. Kraist 3 points. Sid -1 point. Dummee -5 points. Chris -2 points. There is a Christmas motif that lends a bit of perversity to the slaughter. The last level takes place on the rooftops of skyscrapers. One false move, and you fall to your death. It's that simple. The game play of Twisted Metal is good.

The controls are responsive. Switching from weapon to weapon is no problem. Each vehicle has its own strategy. With the giant monster truck, your best bet is to get in close and run over the opposition. This differs greatly from the ghost car Specter. With him, you should keep your distance and fire from behind cover. The audio of Twisted Metal is terrific.

It mixes a little spaghetti Western with Christmas tunes. Some thrash-heavy tunes round out the soundtrack as well. Another great aspect is that when the other cars are killing each other off yes, they can do that As an old fan of the board game Car Wars. The graphics are outstanding and each level gels progressively better. The climax on the rooftops is a real blast.

There are plenty of different vehicles to choose from. The whole premise is sort of warped in a cool way. The music fits It perfectly. The Two-player Mode is a blast. So far, this Is my favorite PlayStation game. With all the new technology available to programmers, a lot of games are becoming so 'high tech' that the most important function of the game can be lost: fun!

Twisted Metal seems to have only one job, and it does it well. The game Is a blast to pay. The graphics aren't anything that special, and the sound Isn't spectacular either, but when your lire this destroy-everything title up, you had better have some tree time on your hands, because you're in for one wild ride.

There is nothing else like this game! Where else can you throw napalm out of an ice cream truck, smash into Diablos and run over pedestrians. With a choice of 12 vehicles--all of which vary In armor, weapons, speed and agility--any gamer, including myself, will never get bored. The control, which is very precise and clean, vanes from vehicle to vehicle, as do the endings.

Any game with Molotov cocktails, exploding cop cars and napalm ice cream cones has got to be good! Twisted Metal is filled with mindless death and destruction, is a perfect game to relieve frustration while blasting away computer enemies or your friend in Two-player Mode.

The control is sharp, allowing you clean and precise control as you battle through city, suburb and rooftop levels. Having vehicles that control as differently as they look is also a bonus for this title. The different landings for each character offer nearly unlimited replay ability for this already great title. If demolition derby with a full-metal-jacket twist sounds like your type of game, Twisted Metal may be right up your alley.

Besides giving you a brief explanation of the game controls, the manual also has small tips and hints in the car, weapon, and map descriptions, helping you get a quick start on finding some of the game secrets.

Much darker and horrific than the first Twisted Metal games, Twisted Metal Black isn't something I'd recommend for our younger readers. Nearly all of the characters in the game are flawed, evil people, who have obviously committed some atrocity, condemning themselves to this hell.

All, and I do mean all, of the art and CGI as well done as it is adds to this very horrific setting. Of course, if a game of blackest shade is what you're looking for, then bon appetit. Twisted Metal Black is one of the most entertaining games I currently own. With a few strategies gleaned from the Internet, I've managed to beat the game with two different characters, and I still don't feel the need to put the game down.

It isn't every day I manage to find a game with this much replayability, and I think that speaks a lot for the effort and eye to detail that Incog, Inc. Excellent graphics, audio, and gameplay all balance to create a truly rewarding game. If anything, the only complaint I could possibly raise is that, as a car combat game, there isn't a lot of story material, even though Twisted Metal Black is certainly packed with more than most.

Still, that's a small sacrifice for a game of this quality, and I'm happy to give this a 93 rating. If you were a fan of the original Twisted Metal game on the PlayStation, whether you like the rest of the series or not, definitely keep an eye out for TM Black.

The pivotal members of the first Twisted Metal design team are adding their special touch to Incognito Studios' PS2 offering, and it looks fantastic. Taking a much darker, sinister approach than the previous games hence the name , TM Black will rely heavily on environmental factors in each arena for greater depth of gameplay. Whether it's shooting down a passing jet, sending it careening into your opponent, or toppling a water tower on him, TM Black takes the series to a higher plane, both graphically and interactively.

The demo at Sony Gamers' Day showed off a wicked transforming version of Sweet Tooth's truck in a cutscene that was simply incredible to watch. No definite word on when the game will be available, but judging from the early state it's still in, we wouldn't expect to see anything until early But if it means a return to the series' roots, we're happy to wait.
