It is a tool claimed by AutoCAD users for years It will increment specifcia attributes within blocks already in the drawing, or drop new blocks in as you go, or just use plain text.

Let's say we have thousands of block instances in a drawing with an code value filled in an attribute. And we'd like to add a prefix tag like "ID:" to the existing values. Not having the value type limitation it's easy to add it using Increment, otherwise it's very cumbersome to do it by hand, one by one Can you please disable this error message?

I won't disable the "Value type" checking because this is required for the incrementing process which is the main purpose of this plugin. If you just want to add a prefixes to attribute or text values without incrementing the values, you should search for some routine doing this.
